Herbie Plimm and the Time Machine is the first novel by New Zealand author and illustrator Theo Dennison. Ideal for kids aged 8 – 13, the book is a time-travel extravaganza featuring new hero Herbie Plimm. Herbie is a very ordinary young boy…until he discovers his grandfather’s time machine. He and Gramps go on a wild ride through the timestream, dodging lasers, angry Romans, mad wrestlers, and ancient stone robots – but can they stop the mad cyborg Sitron and his quest to find the final shards of a mysterious powerful crystal?
With an Afterword describing the writing process of this young author, this book is a fantastic resource and encouragement for young writers everywhere.
